Description

Aston Martin Red Bull Racing RB16 – (110200223):

The Red Bull Racing RB16 is a Formula One car designed and created by Red Bull Racing to compete in the 2020 Formula One World Championship.

Powered by Honda’s RA620H engine, the RB16 is the second Red Bull to use an engine manufactured by the Japanese company. The engine itself is a 1.6-litre direct injection V6, and it’s turbocharged, meaning it can put out 15,000 rpm.

Like many new F1 cars released in 2020, the RB16 was expected to make its debut at the 2020 Australian Grand Prix, but it had to be postponed to the Austrian Grand Prix later on in the year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, lots of technical regulations were left unchanged. Many of the areas surrounding the car were based on its predecessor, the RB15. The RB16 did however feature a narrower nose with two additional inlets at the forefront, together with a redesigned bargeboard area and smaller sidepod inlets. Select parts of the rear suspension were raised, and the rear wing featured two supporting pillars compared to the RB15, which just had one.

It was emblazoned with the Red Bull logo just behind the driver, and the red and yellow accents nicely complimented the dominant black present throughout the rest of the paintwork.
