Description

Nissan Silvia K’s (S13) – Lime Green Two Tone – (KSR18030GR):

The Nissan Silvia S13 was introduced in 1988, and was a continuation of the immensely popular Nissan Silvia, launched in 1965.

If the original Silvia was popular in Japan, then the S13’s success in its home nation was nothing short of stratospheric. In 1988, it won the Car of the Year Japan Award. It was one of the first examples of Nissan utilising their multi-link rear suspension, and this technology was previewed in concept cars in previous years. It also offered a four-wheel steering system, which was another first for Nissan. Moreover, the S13 also saw the introduction of a viscous-type limited slip differential.

The car was fitted with a 1.8-litre turbocharged engine, and as a whole, the car weighed 1,224 kilograms. It allowed the S13 to be nimble, but not too light on the road, and so was easily controllable, yet still provided a pleasurable driving experience.

The iconic two-tone livery is captured in the model, and every miniscule feature is reimagined and designed perfectly. Bold wheel plates and the famous lip spoiler all feature, ensuring excellent historical accuracy.
