About the car

The 2019 Total Spa 24 Hours was the 71st edition of the 24 Hours of Spa endurance race. It was also the fourth round of the 2019 Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup and took place on 27-28 July at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium.

In May 2018, Porsche presented a new version of the 911 GT3 R based on the 991.2 GT3 RS, available to customer teams for the 2019 season.

For the 2019 Porsche 911 R, a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-6 engine which develops 550 horsepower. The power is transferred solely to the rear, with a 6-speed gearbox. It features improvements such as a larger diffuser for more efficient aerodynamics, front suspension adopted from the RSR, larger front tires, an electro-hydraulically operated clutch to eliminate the clutch pedal, as well as a rear-view camera and anti-collision system.
