|About the car
The BMW presented its new 4 Series coupe. This time, the Bavarian manufacturer is showing the M4 sporty car. It remains faithful to the controversial large grille and the 510 hp inline six-cylinder engine in its Competition version.
Just like the sedan, the M4 coupe has an aggressive front end with large honeycomb air intakes and an imposing grille with horizontal slats.
Underneath the hood, the 2020 BMW M4 uses the 3.0-cylinder inline-six seen in part of the BMW Motorsport range. A 480 horsepower “standard” version, available with a six-speed manual transmission, is planned for certain markets. It is therefore the most powerful version, the Competition, with its 510 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. It must be paired with the eight-speed M steptronic gearbox. With this proven unit, the M4 coupe accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.
