BMW M8 GTE is a race car developed by BMW to race in the Automobile Club de l`Ouest LM GTE and International Motor Sports Association GTLM classes. It was the first BMW M Motorsport race car before its production counterpart, the BMW M8 GTE. Back in January 2018, the GT sports car competed in its first race at the 24 Hours of Daytona. The BMW M8 GTE combines innovative technology, unique design, and pure GT power. It has a V8 engine with BMW Twin Power Turbo technology. The 12 Hours of Sebring 2018 takes place on March 17, 2018, was the 66th edition of the event and was the second round of the 2018 United SportsCar Championship.
