About the car
The Racing Point RP20 is the Formula 1 car entered by the British Racing Point F1 Team for the 2020 Formula 1 World Championship. It is the second car designed by the Racing Point F1 Team since the Force India takeover. As in 2019, it was driven by Mexico’s Sergio Pérez and Canada’s Lance Stroll.
It is made of carbon fibre and honeycomb molded composite monocoque chassis, and possesses a V6 turbo hybrid engine, which means it is a speed monster due to the huge performance gains from the turbo and electric power and reaches up to 15000 rpm.
Overall, the car weighs 746kg including the pilot, has a length of 5600mm and a total width of 2000mm.
