About the car
Dallara F2/18 chassis are powered by Mecachrome V6 engines and fitted with 18-inch Pirelli tyres. Equipped with a superb V6 – 3.4 litre single turbo charged Mecachrome engine, the car develops 620 horsepower at 8750rpm, which gives it great performance for a car weighing over 755kg. With a total length of 5224mm, a width of 1900cm, and a height of 1097mm, this gorgeous Dallara F2 reaches up to 100km/h in only 2.9 sec.
The 2020 Formula 2 Championship is the fourth edition of the GP2 Series successor championship. The first four editions were held from 2009 to 2012.
About the Brand
The Dallara Automobili is a producer of Italian racing and road cars. It was founded in 1972 near Parma, Italy by Gian Paolo Dallara. Dallara has designed single-seaters for Formula 3, Formula 3000, Formula 1, as well as sports-prototype cars.
After having worked for Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, and De Tomaso, Dallara wanted to fulfil its dream of working in the world of racing cars.
Its core competences describing Dallara include the design of carbon fibre composites, aerodynamics with the use of wind tunnels and computational fluid dynamics, vehicle dynamics with the use of driving simulators and test benches, speed, flexibility, and quality of production.
