About the car
The Mercedes F1 W10 EQ Power+ is the Formula 1 car entered by Mercedes Grand Prix in the 2019 Formula 1 World Championship. It is driven by Britain’s Lewis Hamilton and Finland’s Valtteri Bottas. Designed by engineers James Allison, Aldo Costa and Geoff Willis, the W10 EQ Power+ was unveiled on 13 February 2019 at Silverstone in England.
The 2019 British Grand Prix was a Formula 1 motor race held at the Silverstone circuit in the United Kingdom, on the 14th July 2019. A race that represented the 10th round of the 2019 Formula One World Championship.
Made of carbon fibre composite, including the engine cover, sidepods, floor, nose, front wing, and rear wing, the body possesses a length of over 5000 mm, a total width of 2000 mm and weighs 743 kg.
The F1 W10 EQ Power+ is a 15-time winner, including 11 wins for Hamilton and four for Bottas, ten pole positions including five for Bottas and five for Hamilton, nine fast laps including six for Hamilton and three for Bottas, seven front row lockouts and nine 1-2 finishes.
