About the car
The Benetton B195 is the Formula 1 car used by the Benetton team in the first Formula 1 season in 1995. It was raced by German driver Michael Schumacher and English driver Johnny Herbert.
It has a carbon fibre unibody chassis, and a V10 engine, which reaches 14,300 rpm with 750 horsepower. The car has an engine named Renault RS7 with a capacity of 3000 cc.
Benetton was also crowned, in this last season of the “dream team” (Schumacher, Brawn, Byrne) within the British team, as Schumacher joined Scuderia Ferrari towards the end of the year, and Brawn and Byrne followed him a year later.
About the brand
Renault Sport is the sporting subsidiary of the French car brand Renault. It was founded in 1976 under the leadership of Gérard Larrousse.
