About the Renault RM Turbo F1
The Renault was first debuted at the Formula 1 World Championship, in 1977. The F1 Renault team also took part in the world championship in 1980, during which the team chose the Renault RE20 powered by a turbocharged V6 Renault Gordini engine capable of delivering 520 HP. During this season, the team achieved three victories in the Brazil, South Africa and Austria GP. As part of the 1981 season, the Renault was updated and renovated. It was replaced after 5 races of the 1981 season, with the Renault 30 series.
