About the car
In September 1964, Porsche AG of Stuttgart, Germany, launched the Porsche 911, a premium two-door, 2+2, rear engine sports car. Its engine is a rear-mounted flat-six, and its suspension is torsion bar. Over the years, the car has been constantly improved, but the basic concept has remained unchanged. The engines were air-cooled until the introduction of the 996 series in 1998.
The Porsche 911 is powered by a 231 hp of 5900 rpm in-line six-cylinder engine with 550 Nm of torque at 4800 rpm. It possesses a displacement of 3164 cm3.

Founded on 25 April 1931 by Ferdinand Porsche and later taken over by his son Ferry Porsche, Porsche is a German racing car manufacturer. Ferdinand Porsche was the engineer who invented the first Volkswagen.
