About the car

Also known as the BMW 1600-2, the BMW 1602 is a two-door wagon produced by BMW from 1966 to 1975. It was part of the BMW 02 Series, the range of sedans that were the predecessors of the BMW 3 Series.

This particular model set new standards as a sporty road wagon. It combined sleek design with a high degree of functionality and value.  Up to 1975, they sold more than 266,967 units, making them the second most popular model after the 2002. The BMW 1602 is powered by a 85 hp of 5700 rpm in-line four-cylinder engine with 124 Nm of torque at 3000 rpm. It possesses a displacement of 1573 cm3.
