Description
BMW 325i – ADAC Nürburgring DTM 1986 – (155862630):
The BMW E30 was the second generation of BMW 3 Series, and they were produced between 1982 and 1994. Succeeding the E21 3 Series was never going to be a small or easy task, and so the E30 had large shoes to fill from the day of its inception.
BMW powered the car with a four-cylinder petrol engine; however, customers were later given the options of a six-cylinder petrol engine or a six-cylinder diesel engine. The latter was a first for the 3 Series, and the 325i was the first ever BMW fitted with four-wheel drive.
Having never sold a E30 in New Zealand, a local importer created a sporting version of the sedan called the M325i. A British version known as the 325i was also released, obviously accommodating a right-sided steering wheel.
At the Nürburgring, the 325i was decorated with a simple red livery accompanied by selective black and white stickers.
