About the car
This car was built by Italian car manufacturer De Tomaso Automobili as part of the Pantera GTS series. Italian Design company Carrozzeria Ghia’s USA designer, Tom Tjaarda initially designed the Pantera. The body style of the car is a 2-door sports coupe outlined with a rear-mid engine, rear-wheel-drive layout.
The Pantera GT4 has a V8 16 valve 5.8 litre engine which produces an impressive 326 brake horsepower and allows the sports car to reach 0-60 mph in just 5.8 seconds. It uses a 5-speed manual transmission which is used throughout all cars in this series.
This GT4 was an entrant in the 1972 Le Mans 24 hours race, which is 24 hours of Le Mans Grand Prix of endurance. The #32 finished 16th out of 19 finishers, while 11 cars did not start and 37 racers which did not finish. It was driven by Belgium drivers Jean-Marie Jacquemin and Yves Deprez.

De Tomaso Automobili is an Italian automobile manufacturing company. The Argentine-born Alejandro de Tomaso founded the company in Modena, Italy in 1959. They produced products for the sports and performance car market worldwide. De Tomaso focused to restore characteristics in their cars such as beauty, romance, elegance and passion in the luxury industry and genre they operate in.
About the Manufacturer
Kyosho Corporation was founded by Hisashi Suzuki in October 1963. The Japanese based company is in the model car manufacturing industry and is one of the oldest model car makers in Japan. Despite the company starting from 1963, production of die-cast models began in 1992. Since then Kyosho have endured great experience in creating high end collectors models, offering a wide variety of different scaled replicas.
