About the Car
This car was produced by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, first unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The ‘Ghost’ was named in honour and tribute to the ‘Silver ghost’, a car originally produced in 1906. It is classed as a 4-door saloon, full-size luxury car with conventional door at the front and coach doors on the rear.
The Ghost was designed to be a smaller, more measured, more realistic car, which targeted a slightly less affluent consumer audience in comparison to other Rolls Royce models. The Ghost features a 6.6 litre V12 twin turbo engine, as well as a ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox which provided the ability to reach 0 to 60mph in an astounding 4.7 seconds and have a top speed of 155mph.
The Rolls Royce Ghost is built on its own exclusive production line at the Headquarters, design, manufacturing and assembly centre, Goodwood Plant. It shares certain resources with the Rolls Royce Phantom series. This luxury vehicle comes in wide choice of unique colours; this one specifically is in Metropolitan blue and silver.
