About the car
The 2020 Italian Grand Prix, held on 6 September 2020 at the Monza circuit, is the 1,026th round of the Formula One World Championship organized since 1950 at this circuit located in the Parco Reale of Monza and known as the “Temple of Speed”, where Pierre Gasly won at the wheel of the Alphatauri Honda AT1 with an average speed of 171.830 km/h.
The Alphatauri AT1 has a V6 turbo engine, although it is a much-maligned engine, it is a speed monster due to the huge performance gains from the turbo and electric power, is driven by Russian Daniil Kvyat and Frenchman Pierre Gasly.
About the Brand
Scuderia Alphatauri, established as Scuderia Toro Rosso in 2006, is an Italian Formula One team founded in late 2005, following the takeover of the Minardi F1 team by the Austrian Red Bull Group. It made its racing debut at the Bahrain GP in the 2006 Formula One World Championship. The team is the junior team of Red Bull Racing, which trains young drivers from Red Bull’s promotional formulas. Its former name, ‘Toro Rosso’, is simply the Italian translation of Red Bull, meaning ‘red bull’.
