About the car
This car was built by British luxury automobile manufacturer Roll-Royce Ltd as a replacement for the initial Silver Ghost model. The Phantom I is a luxury 4-door saloon car and was built in Derby, England and Springfield, Massachusetts, USA, however there was a number of distinctions between the American and English specifications of the Phantoms.
The Phantom I included one major improvement from its predecessor which was the new pushrod-OHV straight-6 engine, assembled as two groups of three cylinders with a single set disengaged head. It was introduced by Rolls-Royce to produce sufficient power. This was Rolls-Royce’s second 40/50 bhp model.
In the UK, the Phantom I was produced 2269 times, while the US version was produced 1240 times. The Rolls-Royce Phantom I came in a variety of colours, this one specifically being dark red.

Kyosho Corporation was founded by Hisashi Suzuki in October 1963. The Japanese based company is in the model car manufacturing industry and is one of the oldest model car makers in Japan. Despite the company starting from 1963, production of die-cast models began in 1992.
