About the car
The B195 Benetton is the Formula One car entered by the Benetton team in the 1995 Formula One season. It was driven by German Michael Schumacher and Englishman Johnny Herbert.
It is made of carbon fibre monocoque chassis, and possesses a V10 engine, which reaches up to 14300 rpm with 750 horsepower. The car possesses an engine named Renault RS7 and a displacement 3000 cm3.
Benetton was also crowned, for the last season of the “dream team” (Schumacher, Brawn, Byrne) within the English team, since Schumacher joined Scuderia Ferrari at the end of the year, and Brawn and Byrne followed him a year later.
About the Brand
Renault Sport is the sports branch of the French car brand Renault. It was founded in 1976 under the direction of Gérard Larrousse.
Since its creation, Renault Sport has run Renault’s various sports programmes in endurance, Formula 1, rallying and tourism. In 1995, a production car department was also launched to develop the brand’s sports models.
