About the Porsche RSR 934
Based upon the design of the Porsche 911 Turbo, the Porsche 934 was introduced in 1976 as part of FIA’s Group 4 GT class. This model was rare, with only 31 Porsche 934 being built and sold in 1976, and a few more in 1977. The car itself was cleverly designed, with a 3.0-liter turbocharged engine, which was much smaller than regular engines. This allowed engineers to redistribute other components of the car, including plumbing and hardware for the air-to-water intercoolers. This allowed for a better-balanced car with an evenly distributed weight both in the front and back of the model.
