The 1990 Porsche 911 Turbo was a car produced by Porsche. It was released in 1990 as a turbo version of the 964 range of cars. Type 964 is Porsche’s internal code name for the 911 Carrera 2 and 911 Carrera 4 models.
The 911 Turbo had a wider body with significantly more flared wheel housings compared to the Carrera models. The car had two exterior mirrors in cup design. At the rear, the car spotted the rear wing and two oval tailpipes which emphasised the vehicle’s uniqueness. The 911 Turbo was powered by a turbocharged Flat 6 3.3-litre engine with 320 hp. The car a top speed of 255.9 kph / 159.0 mph. The car had an acceleration of 0-60mph in 5.1 seconds.
A total of 3,660 964 1990 Porsche 911 Turbo (964) cars were built.
