About the car

This car was built by Japanese automobile manufacturer, Mazda as part of the Second generation (FC3S). There was 272,027 Rx-7 FC3S’s produced from 1985 through to 1992 with two versions of the car formed in that time. This 2-door coupe was designed by automobile lead designer, Akio Uchiyama.

This car is fitted with a 13B-T Twin-rotor rotary engine at the mid/front of the vehicle with a displacement of 1300cc and has 350 bhp. It is equipped with either a 5-speed manual, or a 4-speed automatic transmission and uses a rear-wheel drive system.

This RX-7 is famous for being one of the main vehicles in Japanese street racing series, Initial D. It is driven by character, Keisuke Takahashi during the series. This car is later upgraded in the series to a 450 bhp and increased manoeuvrability thanks to exterior upgrades. This model comes with the Keisuke Takahashi figure.
