About the Fiat 806
The Fiat 806 was a highly innovative car for its time, known as the ‘progenitor’ of the modern Formula One racing cars. Manufactured and designed by the Italian automobiles manufacturer Fiat in 1927, this model was the first Grand Prix car to be built. It comprised of 180 HP 12 cylinders engine, which could reach and sometimes exceed a speed of 240 km/h.
