About the car

BMW 2002 appeared in January 1968. The early versions of this model featured: black and chrome grille in two parts, doors without side strips, and narrow 4.5-inch sheet metal wheels with perforated hubcaps. This car inherited the 1 990 cm3 engine with 100 hp.

Equipped with more powerful engines, the 2002 quickly became a cult car of the 1970’s, notably thanks to the appearance of the 120 horsepower 2002ti model at the end of 1968, then replaced in 1971 by the 130 horsepower 2002tii and followed by the sultry 170 horsepower 2002 turbo.
