About the car
This vehicle is a British sports car manufactured by Jaguar Cars Ltd between 1961 and 1975. It comes with a front mid-engine and rear-wheel drive layout (FMR), which places the engine at the front of the car with the rear wheels being driven. The E-Type was based on Jaguar’s D-Type racing car, a renowned winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
When the E-Type was unveiled, it had a 265 bhp 3.8 litre engine with a four-speed manual transmission with the ability to reach a claimed top-speed 150 mph. It had an impressive acceleration achieving 0 to 60mph in a sub-7-second time.
